On the serialization of relative clauses – A rejoinder to Cinque's "Different merge positions"

The relative order among restrictive, non-restrictive and other kinds of relative clauses is not, as Cinque (2019) suggests, a function of different, syntactically specified positions of merging, but a function of the syntax-semantics interface.
